I have always noticed a force coming through my pen or brush, taking the form of imaginary animals, colors, shapes and lines. In June 2014 I decided to take an introductory course in shamanic journeying with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies to investigate the nature of my art and saw my "first vision" as part of an interdimensional experience. Weaving color and light through my experiences from a series of journeys, visions and meditations that ensued resulted in this body of work that I called "In Reality" - meaning, bending the nature of time and space and expanding on our idea of what reality really is.
These were exhibited in September 2015 at Night Gallery in downtown Los Angeles. I called the exhibition In Reality.
